It has a local presence in over 51 countries and insured about 56 000 clients spread over the globe. Euler Hermes is AA- rated by Standard & Poor's.
Euler Hermes is listed on the French Stock exchange. The majority of the shares is owned by the French insurance group AGF, that itself is controlled by Allianz.
Allianz is one of the biggest insurance companies in the world. They have a presence in most countries in Asia. In Asia, Euler Hermes has developed extensive synergies with the local Allianz entities and we are benefiting from their ongoing logistic and commercial support. Euler Hermes has a unique risk database with financial information on more than 40 million companies and this number is increasing on a daily basis. Our clients have to report all their overdue accounts and this information is stored on the same database.
We are collecting outstanding debt from buyers either on behalf of our insured clients or as a stand-alone service. All that information is stored in the same database.
We have probably more and better information on companies than anybody else in this business. All this information is available to our policyholders in Asia who can access the database using a simple Internet connection - EOLIS.
